the purpose

The purpose of Camp Kaleo, Georgia Baptist Royal Ambassador Camp, is for the inspiration and training of young men; for guidance toward commitment of meaningful life; for the teaching of missionary endeavor at home and abroard; and for Christian evangelism and education.

The Greek transliteration of Kaleo means “called”, and it is hoped that the young men who attend this camp will be called out in the service of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (Mark 1:20)

Camp Kaleo was dedicated on September 15, 1987 to the glory of God and for the Christian nurture and development of young men.
